Thank you again Neil, you were superb in what was a horrid situation. Well done! I will be recommending you to everybody I know!
I was prosecuted before Kendal Magistrate’s Court for an offence of speeding and as a result of the number of points on my licence, I knew that I would tot up more than 12 points and I was petrified that I would lose my licence and my job as a national sales manager with it.
I contacted Caddick Davies and was immediately reassured by the confident and knowledgeable response I received. Whilst it was made clear to me that there was no such thing as a guaranteed outcome, I was given confidence that all was not lost and that I would be able to make an application for “exceptional hardship”.
I asked for Mr Davies to personally attend court with me and I was very happy that I did. Having watched another person with a case on nearly identical facts be allowed to keep their licence, owing to what appeared to be their social status as a “Lady”, the magistrates rejected my plea of exceptional hardship.
Immediately Mr Davies made it very clear to the court that he was disgusted with the decision and he did not back down. I was distraught, but Mr Davies remained calm and in my absence spoke to the court and asked them to reconsider their decision. After a few tense moments the magistrates did exactly that and granted the application, allowing me to keep my licence!
I am confident that had I not been represented by Mr Davies I would have lost my licence. I cannot recommend Caddick Davies strongly enough to any person facing losing their licence and livelihood.
