Mrs Morris, Driving Without Motor Insurance

They are a strong team … they definitely know what they are talking about and we would not hesitate in recommending them should you find yourself in a similar predicament.

We contacted Caddick Davies in relation to an alleged motoring offence for my son who was stopped whilst driving his vehicle without car insurance. I was responsible for paying my son’s insurance although the policy was in my son’s name. According to the Insurer’s I had missed a monthly payment and they had cancelled the policy without notifying or contacting myself or my son.

We were advised to plead guilty but request that ‘special reasons’ be taken into consideration, those reasons being that my son genuinely and honestly believed he was insured at the time of driving and secondly that this belief was reasonable. This offence if found guilty carried a penalty of 6-8 points on my son’s licence plus a fine. We are pleased to say that we won the court case due to diligence, professionalism and experience of the solicitors, they are a strong team and we found them to be very helpful. They definitely know what they are talking about and we would not hesitate in recommending them should you find yourself in a similar predicament.
